What is your secondary class? What is your strength?...
Are you taking sever artery/gash?...because Hamstring on its own will get removed so hard 'n so fast...for 5 energy...by someone who regens energy twice as fast as you...

Sprint, by far. Hamstring is only useful if you want multiple allies to attack that opponent...otherwise sprint has the same effect.

Sprint, because it's versatile, and nice for cancelling Frenzy. Other people can bring snares.

Sprint, because the condition removers are spammable and hosing your energy on a sword warrior is bad for your offense. Oh, and what Nash said.

I dedicate only about 9~10 points into strength (most go into sword) and I've never been a fan of the godly sever artery/gash combo. Definitely over-rated. And, in regards to the basic sword attacks (artery/gash/galrath/final thrust), they're not really that good. Put it this way, can most sword players solo a monk?
I've been using sprint lately because of versatility and low cost. =]

Conditions are dust in the wind, for PvP. Use sprint.

sprint... by using sprint, you can also switch off frenzy if you are using it.
Although... I would probably use axe... or hammer... it is only possible for me to use sword in pve because monster don't run away (so i dont get the running critical). Then again... I don't have a warrior primary for rp.

Hamstring is superior in 4v4 teams due to the fact that your entire offense is normally concentrated on a single target, and the fact that you normally have to only shut down one guy to gimp a teams ability to remove conditions. Sprint is superior in Tombs due to the fact that your offense is spread across several different targets and that your often looking at 3-2 monks who can more reliably
stay effective and be pulling conditions off people.
That's what I find after running both in both enviroments.

No...use sprint then...
To put it that way...I can solo most monks with a sword build of my own choosing. Most sword players can't solo a monk...but then again...most sword players are the paladin >.> They're not bad for what they give...but you know...we got better
